If you have a situation that means you cannot meet with your patients, you should try to mark your appointments as cancelled as soon as possible. Marking it cancelled will send the patient a notification that you cannot attend the appointment.

  • If the provider is missing the appointment within 24 hours, it should be marked as cancelled, not a no show / late cancel.

  • The provider should reach out to the patients via message to inform them of the situation, and either instruct the patient to reschedule, or explain that the provider will follow up to reschedule.

  • If you are going to be OOO for the short future, please also shut new patient scheduling off.

  • If it is an extreme emergency where you are unable to mark your appointments as cancelled, please reach out to support via the chat bot to get urgent help. We kindly ask to only use in cases where you are completely unable to access your computer / phone.
