Provider Resources

Edited

You can access both internal and external provider resources directly within the Resources section of the Provider Portal, so please navigate there for more information. This includes information on:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Partnerships information, such as:

    • Olipop

    • Signos

    • Fig

    • Future

  • Nutrition-related research

  • External handouts to patients

  • Clinical Reference Guides and Treatment Pathways (more details below!)

Clinical Reference Guides

  • Clinical Reference Guides are well-referenced primers for disease states, specific to MNT. They are not intended to be all encompassing, but they are comprehensive and highlight external references to explore. The Guides are meant to serve as reminders for those who specialize in treating these conditions / diseases, and as a helpful introduction for those who are new and interested. We recommend using the Guides to help determine whether you are qualified to add a “specialty” tag for that disease state. If the information in the guide is not very familiar, please do not add that speciality to your profile.

Treatment Pathways

  • Treatment Pathway (or Care Pathways) are used in healthcare settings to outline evidence-based practices and interventions for the management of patients with a specific medical condition. They are sequential, structured, step-by-step plans that guide healthcare professionals through the patient care process. Pathways include evidence-based tools for treating each disease state. The session numbers are meant to be suggestions, as we trust you know your patients.

Sharing External Resources

Nourish RDs are encouraged to share handouts from the Patient Resources in your portal. However, we recognize that not every educational need is addressed with our handouts.  Therefore, we allow you to augment these with resources from authoritative sources (American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, NEDA, etc.).

If none of those meet your needs, you may share additional handouts. We ask that these are not from organizations that provide services similar to Nourish (telehealth).
