American with Disabilities Accommodation Request

Edited

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in various areas, including employment, public services, public accommodations, and telecommunications.

It prohibits discrimination in hiring, promotion, discharge, compensation, job training, and job benefits. Additionally, the ADA requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees unless doing so would cause undue hardship on the operation of the business.

Examples of reasonable accommodations include:

  • Modifications to workstations

  • Adjustments to work schedules

  • Providing assistive technologies
