Initial Licensing Requirements
Application and Fees
To apply for a new license, submit a completed application along with the fee of $100.
You must also submit with your application:
Proof of a current, valid Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Note: You are strongly encouraged to have your fingerprints submitted via electronic transmission (LiveScan), but this is only available if you live in Nevada.
Step by Step Application Guide
To apply online, log in to the Online Licensing System and then click "To Apply for a Dietitian License" in the left column.
Complete and submit the Dietitian Application and Checklist (PDF link).
Include the non-refundable $100 initial licensure application fee and all of the required forms and items:
Complete the Dietitian Background Investigation Instructions (PDF link)
Proof that your fingerprints have been submitted to the Department of Public Safety - please see details here.

To renew your license, log in to the Online Licensing System and then click "Renew" on the welcome screen.
There are no specific continuing education (CEU) requirements to maintain a dietitian license.
