Patient Double Bookings

There can be times when patients are able to book two appointments at the same time. This could happen if a patient is in process of completing the sign-up flow, and at the same time, the provider is booking a follow-up appointment. If you have a double booking:

  • If it is an initial and a follow-up appointment, mark the initial appointment as cancelled immediately, then reach out to the initial patient and offer them some additional times (or ask them to reschedule)

  • If it is two initial appointments, choose one patient, mark the appointment as cancelled immediately, then reach out to the patient and offer them some additional times (or ask them to reschedule)

  • If the appointment is within 24 hours and you are away from your computer, you can use the support chat bot to request assistance in changing your double booking.

    • If the double booking is booked on the weekend, please attempt to complete the scheduling adjustment directly.
