Patient Double Bookings
There can be times when patients are able to book two appointments at the same time. This could happen if a patient is in process of completing the sign-up flow, and at the same time, the provider is booking a follow-up appointment. If you have a double booking:
If it is an initial and a follow-up appointment, mark the initial appointment as cancelled immediately, then reach out to the initial patient and offer them some additional times (or ask them to reschedule)
If it is two initial appointments, choose one patient, mark the appointment as cancelled immediately, then reach out to the patient and offer them some additional times (or ask them to reschedule)
If the appointment is within 24 hours and you are away from your computer, you can use the support chat bot to request assistance in changing your double booking.
If the double booking is booked on the weekend, please attempt to complete the scheduling adjustment directly.
