Pay Frequency & Protocol
Nourish is on a semi-monthly payroll schedule (24 paychecks per year) with pay dates taking place on the 7th and 22nd of each month. Easily keep track of payday by following the Nourish Group Calendar or review the schedule, 2024 - 2025 Pay Dates.
Direct Deposit Updates:
If you recently updated your direct deposit information, please allow up to one full pay cycle for the changes to take effect. If the update was made during the most recent pay period (see pay dates below), your paycheck will be deposited into your new account. Updates made after the pay cycle has closed may require one additional pay cycle before deposits are routed to the updated account.
Once the setup is finished, future paychecks will be deposited into your account without any extra action needed from you
Payroll Deductions:
Nourish is required by law to make certain deductions from your pay each pay period, including deductions for federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare (FICA) taxes, state income taxes, state unemployment taxes, state disability insurance taxes, etc., and any other deductions required under law or by court order for wage garnishments.
The amount of your tax deductions will depend on your earnings and the information you list on your federal Form W-4 and applicable state withholding form. You will be reimbursed in full for any isolated, inadvertent, or improper deductions, as defined by law.

Non-Session Pay:
Non-session pay may include any new hire bonuses, patient referral bonuses, no-show pay, or parental leave pay. This income will also be subject to all deductions including 401(k) deductions, state, local, federal, and any additional deductions you’ve set up.

To ensure all sessions are included in your pay, please ensure that appointments are accurately labeled. Any appointments not labeled up to 4 days prior to the pay date will not be included in your paycheck.
